What is Linda?

Linda is an AI platform for developing text analysis and comprehension skills through linguistic annotation.

What is annotation?

An active reading strategy that requires the use of coloured labels to interact with the text by highlighting words or sentences.

What can I do with Linda?

With Linda you can: Choose an activity: Linda offers a set of ready-to-use scenarios containing a sheet with theoretical insights, a collection of texts and a set of tags. Choose one and customise it to suit your needs. Create an activity: If you can't find what you're looking for in the catalog, you can easily create an activity in just a few steps. Simply upload your texts and add a set of tags to begin annotation based on your chosen linguistic analysis.

Can you give me an example of an activity?

Sure! With Linda, you can work on the structure of an argumentative text using tags like 'thesis', 'antithesis', and 'arguments'. You can also focus on grammar with tags like 'subject', 'verb', and 'direct object'. Additionally, you can help your students understand a scientific article by creating tags such as 'specialized vocabulary', 'scientific evidence', and 'study results'.

Can I work on different disciplines?

Absolutely. In the scenarios, you'll find ready-made activities from art, science, media analysis, and many other subjects. All you need is a text and functional tags for analysis and comprehension activities.

How much does Linda cost?

Linda is free for the first 3 activities. See 'Prices' in the menu bar to find the plan that best suits your needs.

Can my school purchase licences for Linda?
